PETER JACKSON today warned the big clubs they'll have to pay heavily to prise any of his young stars away from Town.

Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, Everton, Southampton and Palace had scouts at Saturday's 3-1 win, along with a string of Championship clubs.

"My young players are wanted because of the talent they've got," said Jackson.

"It wouldn't surprise me if a club came in for someone during the summer, but we don't have to sell as we're doing excellently.

"We are on a firm footing, so it would take a massive bid by anybody to take one of my young players away.

"Also, if we can keep this squad together over the next couple of years, with the spirit and pride they've got in the club, anything is achievable."
