Harry Bunn can make a big impact at Town this season.

That’s the view of Mark Lillis, who handed the 21-year-old a full debut and three further starts during his spell at stand-in manager.

Former Mancheser City player Bunn, who is on a season-long contract, bagged two goals during that spell.

And Lillis would love to see him maintain his form under new boss Chris Powell, who kicked off his reign at home to Middlesbrough yesterday.

“Harry still has things to learn, like keeping his head up and staying on his feet more, but those things will come,” said Lillis.

“Chris knows all about Harry and (assistant manager) Alex Dyer watched his debut at Reading.

“Harry has shown he can handle the physical demands at Championship level.

“And having been through some injury issues, he is mentally tough too.

“I think we could have a very good player on our hands.”
