Chris Powell wants Harry Bunn to reach double figures in the Huddersfield Town goalscoring chart this season.

But the boss says that as well as being a danger up front, the former Manchester City man also made a major contribution defensively in the 1-1 home draw with Brighton and Hove Albion.

“I thought Harry did a sterling job with regards to protecting (left-back) Jason Davidson,” explained Powell.

“Bruno, the Brighton right-back, plays virtually like a right winger and we knew Harry would have a job to do in that respect, as well as going forward.”

Powell is hoping wideman Sean Scannell will be fit to face Fulham in London on Saturday.

The former Crystal Palace player was left out against Brighton because of a problematic hamstring.

“He manfully got through the game against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday, but we have to try to protect him a bit,” added the boss.

“Brighton came too soon, but that extra bit of time makes us more hopeful about Fulham.”

Nottinghamshire’s James Adcock will be the referee on Saturday.
