TOWN are asking fans to help them recover £1,000 worth of stolen training gear.

Thieves took Mitre footballs and Admiral bibs in two luminous orange bags from the van of kit manager Andy Brook on Friday afternoon in Emley.

"There were 23 Ultimax Mitre balls, 11 with red markings and 12 with blue marks and also the letters HTFC on them," said Brook, who immediately reported the theft to police.

"We also lost 12 white bibs and 12 luminous green ones, all with the Admiral logo.

"This is all equipment which can't be bought in the shops, so if anyone gets offered it they know it's stolen. If anyone sees any of this, we would apprecitate them calling the club so we can get it back."
