BLACKPOOL have two selection headaches for Saturday's clash with Town.
While manager Colin Hendry continues to chase Paul Warhurst and Blackburn youngster Ciaran Donnelly as potential signings, he has to find a replacement for suspended wingman Paul Edwards.
Signed from Wrexham during the summer, Edwards has been in outstanding form in Blackpool's improved run but received his fifth booking of the season in last weekend's impressive 3-0 demolition of Brentford at Griffin Park.
It means the 22-year-old misses out against Town and Hendry has no ready-made replacement. While that is a big blow, the Bloomfield Road club have an embarrassment of riches at the back.
Central defenders Peter Clarke and Rob Clare were tremendous at Brentford but skipper Mark McGregor, who was with Burnley last season, is back after missing that match with a badly gashed thigh.
Incidentally, ex-Town midfielder Dean Gorré is still on the books at Bloomfield Road but is not figuring in the senior squad at the moment.
The 34-year-old Dutchman has played just once as a sub so far.
