HONLEY High are celebrating successes for boys and girls football teams.
Their Year 10 team won the Huddersfield Under 15 Cup when defeating Newsome High 4-2 in a thrilling final.
Goals from Tom Haigh (2), Tom Willans and Jack Thackery were enough to ensure the silverware was theirs at Emley’s Welfare Ground.
To reach the final, Honley beat Almondbury High, Colne Valley High and Shelley.
The Under 13 girls, meanwhile, are enjoying a double success.
They won the Kirklees Schools League title.
And they then added the Cup for good measure.
In the League they overcame teams from Holmfirth High, King James’s, Royds Hall and Scissett.
