ONLY three games left and there are still seven teams in the mix for promotion to join Norwich, who are already assured of a place in the Championship next season.

Of course all sorts of possibilities exist, and further twists and turns can be expected between now and the last matches on May 8.

Southampton are still in with an outside chance but dropping two points on Tuesday against Oldham has made it very difficult for them. A win for Town at Stockport will almost guarantee us a play-off place.

But we don’t want to be content with that. Automatic promotion is still on the cards, mathematically, so three wins out of three has to be the aim.

With this in mind, Dean Hoyle has announced reduced prices (to just £10 or £5 concessions) for the last home match, against Colchester, on May 1 and, crucially, has also announced that the Pink Link (South) Stand will be available for season-ticket holders.

This is intended to add to the atmosphere that day and to create as much support as possible for Town. Let’s get behind the lads!

The Club are asking season-ticket holders to transfer their seats in advance to allow those seats to be re-sold, maximising support on the day.

Any supporters unable to get to the Galpharm in advance can email tickets@htafc.com to arrange the transfer.

While on the subject of the last home match, the Supporters Association has reserved two tables for this year’s Annual Awards event on May 1 at the Galpharm and is pleased to offer eight places at a subsidised price, which is £25 each for current members or £30 if your membership has lapsed.

These are available on a first come, first served basis either by ringing 07798 727782 or by emailing info@htsa.co.uk

Of course there’s the small matter of two away matches either side of the Colchester game and the Supporters Association will be running coaches as usual.

This Saturday, departure time from the stadium to Stockport is 12.15. If you still need a seat, there are a few available at £10 or £8 (Juniors) for HTSA members. Ring Michael on 07926 165863.

The trip to Exeter on May 8 is priced at £21 or £19 (Juniors) and the departure time is a little earlier, 7.30!

If everything goes well between now and then, this match could see Town clinching automatic promotion. Stranger things have happened!
