Defence is working. Movement and passing forward good , but no crosses or finish.Stewart, Birkenshaw

Even game until the own goal. Forest didn't deserve a 2-0 win.Sheldon, Wakefield

Another hard-working, decent performance with Murray Wallace outstanding at the heart of defence. The own goal killed the game for Town as at that stage it could have gone either way.John, Holmfirth

You won't see many better own goals, don't know how Ward gets picked, his contribution is minimal. The own goal seemed to knock Town and they never recovered from it, up until then, it had been a fairly even game.Al, Clayton West

Not too bad a performance. The own goal killed Town and after the substitutes came on we lost our way.Glenn, Leigh

Overall  it was a non-event really, neither side that bothered it seemed but Forest had too much for us as their spending showed in individual quality, showing the task we have this season.Roger, Menston

The game merely confirms we are light up front and in defence. Some quality is needed if we are to make progress this year.SPH, Almondbury

An even first half with chances spurned at both ends. Forest ascendancy grew in second half and pushed Town back, increasing distance between midfield and forwards, and forcing Town into the long game.David, Cleckheaton

I thought it was a workmanlike performance against a top side until the own goal knocked the stuffing out of us. Defence backed each other up pretty well but Danny Ward was woeful yet again.James, Sheffield

Town huffed and puffed but could not break the Forest rearguard down. Ward gets worse with every game he plays in. Butterfield tried to get Town going but not enough energy in his team-mates.Derek, Linthwaite

Town never truly threatened and I don't think the Forest goalkeeper will have many quieter games. Our squad looks threadbare. I particularly watched Ward - he didn't break sweat.Luke, Quarmby
