Huddersfield Town are aiming to tie up Ed Wilczynski’s new contract.

The 20-year-old keeper has been offered a fresh deal ahead of the 2015-16 campaign.

It’s hoped the academy product, who has had loan stints at FC United of Manchester, Trafford and Hyde, will push for first-team football.

Town have taken up their option to extend the contract of Wilczynski’s fellow keeper Sam Guthrie, who was loaned to Salford City last season.

And they’ve done the same with defenders William Boyle, Joe Wilkinson and Joe Wright, midfielders Duane Holmes and Ben Holmes and striker Flo Bojaj.

The club had previously taken up their one-year extension option on senior striker Ishmael Miller. But they decided against going down that route with Oscar Gobern.

That left the midfielder free to consider offers, with League I trio Coventry City, Crewe Alexandra and Walsall all said to be interested.
