Chris Powell praised his side's determination in forcing a late leveller for a 1-1 Championship draw at home to Nottingham Forest and said: "A point was the least we deserved."

Emyr Huws was once again the scoring star as his 85th-minute strike cancelled our a Ryan Mendes goal for Forest midway through the first half.

But Powell was quick to praise defender Martin Cranie whose clearance off the line from Chris O'Grady prevented the visitors going two up in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

"Over the balance of play we maybe deserved more," said Powell. "We started well and took the game to Forest, which is what I wanted.

"But we got rocked by their one and only shot in the first half and he took it well. We had to gather ourselves again.

"In the second half we probed and we trying to get in there, we got some good balls into the box, but it looked as if it may have run away from us.

"However our substitutes (Nahki Wells and Joe Lolley) made an impact and we changed our shape to ask Forest some questions.

"Emyr will get the plaudits for another great goal, but Martin's block was as important in earning us the point."
