SOME of them may have ended up in just their boxer shorts – but Town manager Lee Clark thought Town’s travelling support was anything but ‘pants’ at Edgar Street.

The away contingent at Hereford numbered 553, a significant proportion of the 2,979 crowd that turned out to see the Terriers notch a 1-0 win against the struggling Bulls.

In freezing temperatures the Terriers following decided to celebrate a long trip to the Welsh borders by playing ‘in skins’. It had not gone unnoticed by Clark who smiled: “They seemed to be enjoying themselves – I think taking your shirt off has got to be a northern thing!

“The following was fantastic as it is a long journey down to Hereford. I just hope we helped them enjoy their day because everyone at the club is proud of the supporters we have.

“They are fantastic home and away and I have to thank them once again.”
