LEE CLARK says the only League I table which concerns him will be that after Town’s final game of the season at Exeter on May 8.

The Galpharm boss believes there will be plenty of twists and turns over the final run-in, which starts when leaders Norwich visit today.

Town, with Lee Peltier set to return, go into the eagerly-awaited clash, which looks sure to attract a bumper crowd swelled by more than 3,000 Norwich fans, in seventh position.

But former Norwich assistant manager Clark said: “At this stage, the league positions have no effect on my thinking.

“I’m simply concentrating on amassing as many points as possible from the 11 matches that remain.

“With the teams at the top of the table taking each other on over the closing stages, there are sure to be plenty of twists and turns.

“They key thing is not to get too excited when you are in the top six and not to get too despondent when you’re not in it.”
