HUDDERSFIELD Town manager Lee Clark confirmed today there has been no new interest in any of the fringe players he is willing to let leave the Galpharm Stadium.

With the summer transfer window due to close at midnight on Wednesday, rumours have suggested striker Danny Cadamarteri could be on his way.

Tom Clarke, Robbie Simpson and Joey Gudjonsson have been told they can find other clubs if they wish, but Clark said the telephone has been silent.

"I have had inquiries for one or two of them but those moves were turned down and, in the last few days, I have had no inquiries whatsoever," said Clark on Monday morning.

"I can't force players to move on, it is their prerogative if they want to stay here and do nothing.

"At the moment there is nothing happening, and I certainly won't be doing anything myself in terms of bringing people in."

Clark has only Peter Clarke (back) and Alex Smithies (knee) unavailable for tomorrow's Johnstone's Paint Trophy first-round trip to Northampton.
