Mark Robins says he's brought Jazz Richards in to play games - and he will give the on-loan Swansea right-back every chance to stake his claim.

" Jazz is hungry and trying to make his way in the game," said Robins, whose side host Doncaster in the Championship tomorrow.

"At Swansea, he's been brought up playing football the way I like it to be played, and he's had Championship experience on loan at Crystal Palace.

"He's a versatile asset because he can play either side and even in midfield, although I don't envisage him doing that here."

"But he's come to play matches, we want him to play matches, and he will get that opportunity. It's up to him to stake his claim for a regular place."

Meanwhile Robins wants his side to show they have learned the lessons of their 2-1 defeat at Barnsley last time out.

"We've analysed that match, but we haven't festered over it," said the boss, whose side have had a fortnight without a game because of internationals.

"Basically Barnsley won because they started the match better than we did. You have to be at it for the full 90 minutes every match.

"We have another derby coming up tomorrow and we know Doncaster are a decent side who will be up for it. We have to deal with that."
