TOWN will be aiming to clinch a £27,000 pay-out by winning their fourth FA Cup meeting with Port Vale.
That’s the amount picked up by the winners of each of the 20 second-round ties.
The club have already collected £18,000 for coming through their first-round meeting with Dagenham and Redbridge, who were beaten 6-1 at the Galpharm.
Vale, of course, were 4-3 winners at the Galpharm in last season’s first round.
They beat Town 1-0 at Vale Park in the second round in 1993-94, but Town were 2-1 winners at the same stage in 1975-76.
