HUDDERSFIELD Town carved out a handy win against Exeter City on Saturday.

But what did you make of the performance?

Below are the ratings from Examiner Huddersfield Town journalist Doug Thomson.

The fans' ratings are on page two.

GARY NAYSMITH
The experienced left-back, who once again took the captains armband, was a steadying influence. 7

JACK HUNT
Overcame a couple of early glitches to really impose himself, tackling well and showing neat footwork. 8

JAMIE McCOMBE
Provided an effective barrier to help limit Exeters attacks as well as grabbing his third goal in five games. 8

SEAN MORRISON
Made his presence felt as Town competed on the ground and in the air and also troubled the Exeter defence. 7

DANNY WARD
Never let up as he worked the wings to good effect and was always willing to unleash a shot on goal. 8

OSCAR GOBERN
Struggled for accuracy with some of his passes, but still provided the ball in which led to Rhodes goal. 7

ANTON ROBINSON
Goberns central partner got in some vital tackles as Town worked hard to compete with Exeters midfield diamond. 7

JORDAN RHODES
Persistence paid off for the striker, who joined up with Scotland Under 21s having hit the 30-goal milestone. 8

ALAN LEE
Took the game to the Exeter defence and a fat lip showed the punishment he had to soak up. 7

GARY ROBERTS
His trademark trickery was on show at times, but does not yet look to be firing on all cylinders after hernia surgery.7

SUBSTITUTES
Lee Novak (for Lee, 64mins) 8;

Joey Gudjonsson (for Robinson, 64) 7;
