HUDDERSFIELD Town go into FA Youth Cup fourth round action against Stoke at the Britannia Stadium tonight (7.00) with academy chief Mark Lillis telling his players: “Embrace the occasion.”

Lillis was delighted with the way the Under 18s handled their trip to Hartlepool in the previous round, when they won 3-0.

Now they’re pushing for a place in the last 16 and a trip to Nottingham Forest or Rochdale, who also play tonight.

“It’s another great test for us and a step up because Stoke have a category one academy (Town’s is category two),” he said.

“It’s a great chance for them to play at a stadium they see on Match of the Day every other week, and hopefully they will go out there and enjoy the match.

“We’ll prepare the way we would for a first-team game, and all in all, it should be a great experience.”

l Godwin Abadaki, is to stay at Town until the end of the season – and possibly beyond.

The teenage Rochdale striker has become a regular member of Steve Eyre’s Under 21 development side since his arrival on loan from in mid-September.

Now the arrangement has been extended, and Town have the option of making the deal permanent this summer.

The 18-year-old has made seven starts and one substitute appearance for the Under 21s, scoring three goals.

l The annual Town Patrons quiz takes place at Canalside tomorrow (7.30 for 8.00 start) and is open to all supporters.

There are four four-man teams from the Patrons, Supporters’ Association, club and media, who are the holders, competing for the Will Venters Trophy.
