HUDDERSFIELD Town are inviting fans to two Open Days in October half term.

Supporters are being invited to the Galpharm Stadium on Tuesday, October 26, for a special game against Liverpool (2.00) and, on the morning of the following day, for a public training session, which will be followed by a stadium tour and an autograph session with the first team squad.

Town’s commercial director, Sean Jarvis, said: “Events like this are important for our supporters.

“Huddersfield Town is not a ‘closed shop’ and one of our aims is to make every fan feel part of what we are trying to achieve and this is one way that we are able to do that.

“Open Days give supporters an opportunity to get behind the scenes and see the ‘nuts and bolts’ of the club.

“Seeing places like the changing rooms and tunnel area gives fans a different view and a greater understanding of what happens at the club.

“We have two fantastic days planned and, by opening our doors, this half term we are continuing our commitment to families and we hope that everyone will be able to make it down on at least one of the days.”

For the game against Liverpool, which was previously due to be played behind closed doors, the gates will be open from 1.00. The game will be free to all season ticket holders and season pass holders and £4 for adults and £2 for concessions for everyone else.

The public training session is an opportunity for fans to see behind the scenes and see the places in the stadium normally reserved for staff, players and club officials.

Gates will open at 10.00 for the public training session on the pitch which starts at 10.30 and after the training session, which will last about an hour, supporters can take a tour and visit the first team changing room, the physio room, the tunnel and dug-out areas, the press conference room, the banqueting suite, the boardroom and corporate boxes.

There will be stalls available in the Banqueting Suite for people to buy Town memorabilia.

Supporters wishing to sell their own Town memorabilia will have the chance to do so from stalls set up in the Banqueting Suite and those who wish to take a stall should e-mail no later than 5pm on Friday, October 22.

This will be followed by an autograph session with the first team squad and management in the Fantastic Media Suite from approximately 1.00.

Town’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy trip to Rotherham has been fixed for Tuesday, November 9 (7.45). It’s £10 adults and £5 concessions
