HTSA is planning an “International Five-a-Side” tournament at PPG Canalside on Saturday, May 23.

Dave Durrands, a keen Town fan now resident in Denmark, is coming over to Huddersfield with enough clubmates to field two teams.

The hope is that we can find another six teams from within the local area.

The tournament will be organised as two qualifying mini-leagues leading to a play-off final.

The HTSA charity this season, the Isaac Nash Trust, will also benefit as we will be asking each competing team to make a donation of £50 towards this worthwhile cause.

Please confirm your entries by email to repepper.rep@gmail.com

Next week a dedicated set of Town fans will be cycling through the World War I battlefields of France as they journey from the Eiffel Tower in Paris to Huddersfield’s Jubilee Tower on Castle Hill.

The final leg of the trip will then see them travelling to Blackpool in time for Town’s final game of the 2014/15 season.

The intention is to lay wreaths at several War Graves which commemorate relatives of some of the cyclists as well as four former Town players who made the ultimate sacrifice in World War I.

Each cyclist has paid for their own travel and hotel costs, as well as the cost of their support team, in order to raise as much as possible for the Keep It Up campaign, Town Foundation and Help for Heroes.

Please look out next week for further details of the players being commemorated and how you too can contribute to this magnificent project.

Last week’s “HTSA Free Draw” winning number was 61421 and it belonged to a HTSA Life Member, B Spence.

However, it was not claimed by 19:08 on Friday, April 17.

This means that this week’s prize now stands at £50.

Today’s winning “Free Draw” number is 25513. If this number is one of the three numbers printed on your HTSA membership card please send details of your full name and postal address by text to 07725036109 or by email to trevwhitehead@virginmedia.com before 19:08 on Friday 24th April and you will receive your £50 cheque by return of post.

If you are a Life Member of HTSA but you have not received a membership card within the last twelve months and you do not know your three “Free Draw” numbers please contact Trev Whitehead (as above) giving your full name and postal address. Alternatively, you can collect your numbers by calling in at the HTSA cabin on any ‘home match-day’.

This applies equally to all those who were original Life Members of the Supporters Trust.

When HTSA was formed our Life Members were asked whether they wished to consider Life Membership as being literally for life or whether to convert to annual membership at some point. Several members never made a choice and consequently they may not have received their “Free Draw” numbers – please get in touch if this applies to you.

Terms and conditions apply and the HTSA Committee’s decision will be final. Please visit the HTSA-online website for details about membership and the “Free Draw”.

If this week’s prize is not claimed then the cash will roll over to next week. Make sure that you are in with a chance of winning next week by renewing your membership if it has expired.

£50 25513, is it you? £40 61421, B Spence (Life Member), £30 34146, D Waters.

Now dig out your membership card, it could be worth £50!

There is another big win awaiting a lucky HTSA member on the coach to Blackpool on Saturday, May 2.

To book your seat please call Rachael on 07905580784. HTSA Members £11 and non-members £13 and please note the new departure time from the John Smiths’ Stadium of 9am.
