TOWN’S FA Youth Cup fourth-round tie against Stoke has been scheduled for the Britannia Stadium on Wednesday, January 16 (7.00).

The fixture, one of 16 at this stage of the competition, is dependant on the Potters not requiring a replay after today’s FA Cup third-round tie at Crystal Palace.

Town won 3-0 at Hartlepool to make the next stage of the Youth Cup while Stoke’s youngsters saw off Brighton 4-0.

Both clubs have made the Youth Cup final – Town in 1974, when they lost to Tottenham and Stoke 10 years later, when they were beaten by Everton.

There has been one previous Youth Cup clash between the pair, in the second round of 1975-76, when Town won 2-0.

Entry to the game is £3 adults and £1 concessions.
