HUDDERSFIELD Town winger Gary Roberts will start his rehab tomorrow after undergoing a hernia operation earlier this week.

The 27-year-old former Ipswich man had been suffering with the problem for a while and after consulting a specialist recently, it was decided now was the best time to sort the problem.

The op could mean Roberts was out for between three and six weeks.

Town manager Lee Clark told his weekly Press conference this morning that the procedure had gone "fantastically well".

He added: "The key thing is to get moving straight away and get the core muscles strengthened up."

Roberts will also be able to spend time with a new face in his household, his baby daughter, who his partner gave bith to recently.
