Loaned-out Huddersfield Town goalkeeper Sam Guthrie will be aiming for another clean sheet as Salford City seek a second successive win at home to Warrington Town tomorrow.

The 18-year-old made his fourth appearance for the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League team in Saturday’s 2-0 win at Lancaster City.

It was a first victory in four in the First Division North and five in all competitions for the Moor Lane club, who are part-owned by former Manchester United stars Gary and Phil Neville, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt.

Salford are fourth in a table which also features Brighouse Town in 14th.

Warrington, who hit the headlines by knocking Exeter City out of the FA Cup earlier this month to seal a second-round clash at Gateshead, are 18th.

Guthrie’s fellow Town keeper Ed Wilczynski, 20, is on loan at Evo-Stik League Premier Division side Trafford.
