After 1pm, it’s the usual matchday price for a category B game of £15 adults, £10 over 60s and £5 under 18s.

Prices in the Revell Ward Stand upper and lower Tier, Britannia Rescue Stand and Fantastic Media Stand upper tier are £20 adults, £15 over 60s and £5 under 18s.

The Chadwick Lawrence (South) Stand will be available to home supporters for this game.

The stand will be open to season-card holders only.

They can transfer into the South Stand from their normal seat using their card at the turnstile on a first come, first served basis.

Ticket office manager Sue Beaumont said: “The Fantastic Media Stand lower tier should really appeal to fans.

“We’ve run this initiative before and it proved really popular. Hopefully it can help us get the season started with a bang!

“The club are targeting a biggest ever opening day crowd at the John Smith’s Stadium.

“It currently stands at 15,578 against Stockport County on August 9, 2008.

“Hopefully we will beat that number given this deal and the popularity of the season-card offer.

“I would still stress that the £179 adult season card will prove to be the best value for money over the course of the season.

“Once 15,000 are sold the prices will increase, so please don’t delay!”
