KEIGAN PARKER starts a month on loan at Hartlepool tonight while Town teammate Jon Worthington has extended his stay at Yeovil.

Striker Parker is in line for a Pools debut at home to Tranmere as midfielder Worthington hopes for a seventh Yeovil outing when Hereford visit Huish Park.

It’s a tally which will now be extended further, because while the Yeovil management changed during Worthington’s initial month there, Terry Skiverton, who took over from Russell Slade, is a fan of the Town academy product’s combative approach.

On former Blackpool player Parker, whose 23 Town appearances have yielded only two goals, boss Lee Clark said: “Keigan hasn’t figured in my squad in recent games and has become a little frustrated.

“He wants to play football and Hartlepool have given him that opportunity.

“We’re looking to change things around too and this is a move which suits both parties.”

The 26-year-old Scotsman’s initial spell at Pools, who were the opponents on his last Town appearance a month ago, runs until March 29, taking in six matches.
