LEE CLARK says Huddersfield Town’s big derby against Oldham Athletic can’t come quickly enough.

His fourth-placed side head into tomorrow’s League I showdown eager to kick on after last Friday’s 6-0 romp at Wycombe Wanderers.

But while he will be presented with the latest League Managers’ Association Performance of the Week award ahead of the Galpharm game, the boss says tackling Paul Dickov’s 15th-placed Latics will be the only thing on his mind.

"It was a terrific performance, and it’s great that it has been noted elsewhere, but Wycombe has gone now and it’s all about the next game," he said.

"We have two home matches on the bounce (Brentford visit a week tomorrow) and we have a great chance to get points on the board.

"Oldham are no pushovers, because Paul has put together a good squad and has got them well organised.

"Recent games between the pair of us have been tight, and they will bring a good following and be well up for it.
