Town host Birmingham this weekend and will be hoping to end a 20-year wait for a home league win over the Blues.

We'll bring you all the build up to the match as well as the latest from Gary Rowett's press conferrence due to take place this morning.

We also want to hear from you. If you have any opinion on a matter we discuss in the blog or anything Huddersfield Town related, please tweet us at @ExaminerHTAFC with your views and they could be featured and discussed.

      Birmingham team news

Quite a few injuries for the Blues to contend with this weekend.

50/50 Specs, Glees and Robbo all had knocks at the weekend.

We are hoping all three train today.

We have had quite a lot of frustrating injuries that have made it difficult to get continuity. It’s been pulls and strains rather than impact ones.

This time round we will be quite grateful for an international break.

      Rowett on BCFC away form

Even though we are really pleased with our record having lost only three of 15, we need to get back to performing a bit better away from home.

Birmingham have won just two matches away from home this season.

      Rowett on Town

      Birmingham City boss Gary Rowett
      Birmingham City boss Gary Rowett

You are going to get a team that has worked a lot harder this week to change recent form.

They have lost three out of the last four.

We are going to have to play incredibly well to get anything out of the game.

They are having a little blip, hopefully we extend that blip on Saturday.

Rowett on the last match v Aston Villa

You take the positives out of it and challenge those players to show them again in a game which undoubtedly won’t have the same atmosphere.

We have got to show the same desire to win at Huddersfield.

That’s Championship football, it’s not the Olympics where you can turn up win the gold and not compete at that level for the next four years.

We have got to do that every five years.

Here’s what the Birmingham City centre-half expects from Town tomorrow.

I don’t know if they are on the slide, they started the season incredibly well which is difficult to maintain.

Every team is going to have little blips and hiccups here and there throughout the season - that’s natural in the Championship.

It could be a good time to play them - but we will see.
