In an Examiner survey, 83% of those responding wanted versatile full-back Woods to stay, with almost half of them suggesting a two-year deal for the player signed from Dunfermline in 2011.

Former Falkirk centre-back Wallace is a wanted man by 74%, with opinion equally divided about whether any deal should be for one or two years.

Supporters have seen only glimpses of former Manchester City striker Bunn, who signed a short-term contract in January.

The 21-year-old, who has come off the bench three times, had 73% support to stay on, two thirds saying 12-month terms.

When it comes to Ward  65% were in favour of keeping the former Bolton man, who has notched seven goals this season.

Of the total who gave their opinion on the forward, 27% said he should get a one-year deal and 27% two-year terms. However, slightly more votes were cast for a one-year deal.

Meanwhile Town midfielder Anton Robinson is hoping a knee injury won’t dent his chances of earning a permanent move to Coventry.

The former Bournemouth player, who has been told his Town contract won’t be renewed, has made six loan appearances for the Sky Blues.

But he suffered his setback during the Easter Monday League I meeting with Oldham at Boundary Park.

Coventry boss Steven Pressley said: “He’s been excellent and come in and done exactly what I wanted him to do. He’s very steady in his performance and he’s got lots of energy.

“We needed a little bit of maturity in the team and he’s provided that.

“The injury is obviously a concern for him as well as us but hopefully it will settle down.”

The other Town players out of contract are Chris Atkinson, Ian Bennett, captain Peter Clarke, who has indicated he will be leaving, Matt Crooks, Cristian Lopez, who is on loan at League II Northampton, Paul Mullin and Keith Southern.

Nottinghamshire’s David Coote will referee Town’s final match of the Championship campaign at Watford on Saturday (12.15).

He also took Town’s 3-2 defeat at Burnley this season.
