LEE CLARK is looking to add at least three more friendlies to Town’s pre-season schedule.

The Galpharm manager is awaiting answers from a number of clubs who have been sounded out about matches.

The prime time to be filled is the weekend of August 1/2, the last before the big kick-off on Saturday August 8.

Town have already set up a home showdown with Coventry City on Saturday, July 25, with kick-off confirmed as 3.00.

That game pits Clark against Chris Coleman, his former Fulham teammate who has been Sky Blues boss since February 2008.

Clark, who will keep the week before the start of the season free (Town hosted Arsenal in their centenary match on the Wednesday last year), will also come up against an old Newcastle teammate in Ian Bogie when Town visit Gateshead on Saturday, July 11.

Bogie’s side, including Town-bound striker Lee Novak, host Telford in the Conference North play-off final tonight.

Town also send a side to Wakefield FC on July 11 (3.00) and visit Corby Town on Wednesday, July 15 (7.30) and Harrogate Town on Tuesday, July 28 (7.00).
