Huddersfield Town Supporters Association would like to remind fans that season-ticket holders anywhere in the ground can transfer to the Fantastic Media Stand lower tier for free.

Season-card holders from other stands should simply take their card to turnstile 40 of the Fantastic Media Stand lower tier and have it scanned as normal to gain entry and swap stands in an effort to join the North Stand Loyal group (NSL).

The North Stand Loyal is a supporter-created and driven group of like-minded fans whose aim is to congregate and improve the matchday atmosphere by creating a wall of colour.

NSL has created a crowd-funding initiative that allowed for the creation of several fantastic banners that are on display this season, and in support of the NSL’s goals the club is waiving the normal administration fee to transfer stands for the Birmingham game.

So Town fans, once again the message from HTSA is clear: Let’s see if we can approach 1,000 fans in the FML over the next few months.

Get behind the goal, back the lads and cheer them on to victory!

Earlier this month the Heavy Woollen group welcomed Mark Lillis as the principal guest.

Mark, as ever, was full value but added even more by bringing Jake Charles along as one of our top-ranking Academy players.

Hopefully, Jake will soon be fully recovered from the hamstring injury that has kept him out of action for over four months.

Mark was very enthusiastic about the Academy players coming through the ranks and was very happy that the whole playing squad is now centred around PPG Canalside.

Not only does this make for a uniformity of approach but also allows our management team to make sound judgements on our playing strengths and upcoming talent.

Mark added that the new management team has bonded well and he is full of confidence that the club is all the stronger for that.

Meanwhile, honesty, integrity, trust, commitment, quality, pride, respect, character, value and success – do these words sound familiar?

Of course they do, because Town are a club who pride themselves on all of these things.

While Dean Hoyle and his colleagues continue to show transparency in the running of the club, along with the kind of principles that can only make Town fans proud, the same cannot be said elsewhere.

It has just emerged that Nottingham Forest, Blackburn Rovers and Leeds United have been hit with January transfer embargoes for failing to adhere to Financial Fair Play rules.

The three Championship clubs all exceeded the maximum permitted ‘deviation’ between operating loss and shareholder investment of £8m and will now have to stay within a deviation of below £6m in order to ensure the embargo is lifted at the end of the current campaign.

A Football League statement said: “An initial analysis of Financial Fair Play submissions from the current 24 Championship clubs has indicated that three clubs – Blackburn Rovers, Leeds United and Nottingham Forest – have failed to meet the Fair Play Requirement under the division’s Financial Fair Play rules.

“Consequently, all three will be subject to an ‘FFP embargo’ under Football League regulations from January 1, 2015 for the remainder of the current campaign.”

Thankfully we support a club who are going about their business the right way UTT!
