HUDDERSFIELD Town fans are on the march to Old Trafford!
With tickets now on general sale for the League I play-off final against Peterborough, Town have already sold more than 22,000 of their 35,596 allocation.
Just days after rocking the Galpharm Stadium to help Town oust Bournemouth in a dramatic semi-final, fans have committed big backing for Lee Clark’s side in Sunday’s promotion showpiece.
“Tickets have gone extremely well over the weekend and we are expecting well over half our allocation to be sold by now,” said chief executive Nigel Clibbens. “Demand since general sale has been particularly pleasing and the people of Huddersfield want to be part of what could potentially be one of the biggest days in the recent history of the club.
“We would urge anyone who is unsure whether to go or to watch the final on TV to get their ticket and get themselves to Old Trafford next Sunday.
“Opportunities to watch Town in occasions as massive as this are special and we want as many people as possible to be a part of it.”
