PETER CLARKE piloted Town into the League I play-offs with two games still to go but warned: “There will be no letting up.”
An historic 6-0 win at Stockport, which equalled Town’s biggest margin of victory in an away league match, coupled with Colchester’s failure to beat Tranmere ensured Lee Clark’s side will finish at least sixth.
But skipper Clarke, who saw Anthony Pilkington, Theo Robinson, Jordan Rhodes, Danny Drinkwater, Gary Roberts and Lee Novak (penalty) score, wants his side to finish as high up as possible.
After a game seen by 3,424 Town fans in a 6,887 crowd, Clarke said: “We produced a really professional performance on a difficult surface, but we still have it all to do.

“We have two games left (at home to Colchester on Saturday and away to Exeter on May 8) which will define what we will face come the middle of next month.
“We want to accumulate as many points as possible, finish as high as possible, and go into the play-offs on a real run of form.”
