Ishmael Miller aims to help chop down his former club Nottingham Forest on Thursday as Huddersfield Town seek a third Championship win on the bounce.

The 28-year-old would love to grab his first goal of the campaign in front of the Sky cameras against the side he had three years with from 2011-14.

But he says the main thing is to play his part in another big team effort like that which brought the 2-1 victory at Charlton Athletic and 4-1 home triumph over Bolton Wanderers.

“Getting back-to-back wins in this division is a big thing, and you see how it’s moved us up the table (to 13th),” he said.

“But we want to keep it going because momentum is all-important.

“We’re not getting carried away because there is a lot of football to be played still.

“But there is a good vibrant spirit about the place, and the players the gaffer has brought in have given us a good balance.

“We’re getting goals in a variety of ways and we look like a proper team.”

Miller has fought his way back to full fitness after a pre-season injury and has featured in every game so far.

“I’m feeling sharper all the time,” he added.

“I’m a big lad and the coaches and fitness staff have worked out great routines to get me running for as long as possible.

“I feel I’m flourishing because of them.”

Forward Jamie Paterson is ruled out under the terms of his loan move from Forest.
