HUDDERSFIELD Town Supporters Association have sent a good luck message to injured winger Anthony Pilkington and urged everyone to pull together to achieve promotion for him.

The 22-year-old former League II play-off winner suffered a serious left ankle injury in last night's 2-1 win over Rochdale which seems certain to end his season.

Robert Pepper, in charge of communications for the Supporters Association, said: "Everybody was really shocked and dismayed about what was happening on the pitch at the time of the incident.

"It was clearly a really bad injury, but I'm sure I speak on behalf of all Huddersfield Town supporters when I says that we hope everything turns out as well as it can and he is able to make a full recovery as quickly as possible.

"We are going to miss him in the matches coming up because he is a key part of our squad, but we just have to get on and do the best we can without him and play the rest of the season for him.

"Let's hope we can get to the Championship and then Pilks can come back and show his skills for us at that level."
