WHATEVER we might think of prospects for the rest of this season, it’s clear from yesterday’s launch of the Keep It Up campaign by the club and Yorkshire Air Ambulance that there are some ambitious plans for the future of Huddersfield Town.
Next Thursday will be an opportunity for fans to put their own questions forward on that and any other topics when the club’s directors, including chairman-elect Dean Hoyle and chief executive Nigel Clibbens, will be the guests at the Patrons’ meeting, starting at 8pm in the Fantastic Media Suite at the stadium.
This is always a popular meeting – how many other clubs’ directors meet their fans on a regular basis? – so get there early to ensure a good seat!
It’s not too late to book for the HTSA coach to Hereford this Saturday, leaving the stadium at 10.30am.
Please note that this is half an hour earlier than originally planned. Prices are £12 and £10. Please ring 07926 165863 to book your seat.
Finally, for all those with internet access, you should be able to find a link on the sports section of the BBC website to a 12-minute video on the Pride of Huddersfield Town.
This was the BBC’s first stop on their Marvellous, Magical, Mad Football League Tour and gives an unusual account of the club and its place in the hearts of its supporters.
