The last two matches have seen Town collect an encouraging four points from games against Doncaster Rovers and Charlton Athletic.
A goalless draw with Doncaster was followed by a 2-1 victory over Charlton on Tuesday and once again it was that man James Vaughan on the scoresheet with a header from Adam Hammill’s pinpoint cross just before half-time.
Town extended their lead with a Joel Lynch piledriver which flew into the top corner from 35 yards out.
So a return of four points has seen us climb to ninth in the Championship table and we look forward to Saturday’s away fixture against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park, where we urge fans to travel in their numbers and once again give the fantastic backing to help the lads to victory.
HTSA members are reminded that our annual general meeting will be held tonight at Canalside (7pm), to be followed by the initial ‘All Together Town’ meeting.
The ATT initiative is a new way for the club and supporters to work together during the 2013-14 season and will seek feedback from supporters via surveys, face-to-face meetings and email groups on issues directly affecting everyone.
If anyone hasn’t yet got a ticket for tonight’s meeting, HTSA still has a few available on the door.
