THE last Patrons’ meeting featured Town’s new guys.

In another meeting of two halves, Nathan Eccleston, Dean Heffernan, Krystian Pearce and Neal Trotman provided a very entertaining first half. And representatives of The Yorkshire Air Ambulance entertained and educated in the second.

Thank you to them and to all those who attended.

The next meeting on Thursday, April 1, should also be fascinating.

It’s an 8pm start in the Fantastic Media Suite and it’s the boss – an evening with Lee Clark.

Always an eagerly awaited event, the meeting next Thursday is open only to Patrons members.

As we approach the end of the season, it will be interesting to hear Lee’s views on what has been one the best seasons to watch Town in recent memory.

There is still a lot to do and Patrons will get the chance to ask questions and hear Lee’s responses.

Any Patrons unable to attend but who have a question they would like asking should write to info@htafcpatrons.com

Patrons should always bring their membership cards to get priority for open meetings and to be entered into the free raffle.

Now to the future of the Patrons Association.

Mark Davies has arrived at Town as Business Development Manager. He is full of great ideas and has been talking to the Patrons committee about the future. Both parties have lots of positive suggestions to improve what members are offered and so, hopefully, you will hear more when a package is agreed. Don’t forget Boothy’s Quiz Night.

Town fans are reminded of the announcement in last week’s column that the club Ambassador has arranged a special Pub Quiz Night for supporters on Wednesday, March 31 (7.30), to take place at The Pub, Taylor Hill, Newsome (formerly known as the Bluebell Inn).

For satnav users, the address is 14 Close Hill Lane, HD4 6LE.

Admission is by ticket, which can be bought for £5 at the club ticket office. The price includes a pie and peas supper and all proceeds will go towards Town’s Keep It Up campaign and Academy.

Easter Saturday at Wycombe. Departure time from the Galpharm on April 3 is 9.30am. Prices are £18 and £16 (Juniors) for members, with a £2 surcharge for non-members. Call Michael on 07926 165863 to book.
