Huddersfield Town will no doubt kick off next season with some fresh faces, while other players out of contract may well move on.

With this in mind, HTSA would like to wish all the players, staff and all those connected to the club the very best of luck.

And a special mention goes to our Captain Fantastic – Peter Clarke – who has played in potentially his last home game for Town.

Peter has skippered the side marvellously in his time at Huddersfield Town since joining from Southend in 2009, and has been a firm favourite among the fans for his never-say-die attitude and his love of the club.

He led Town to promotion from League 1 as play-off winners in 2012 in what was one of the most memorable and proudest moments of his career.

HTSA would like to congratulate everyone who took part in the Pedal 4 Pounds 5 bike ride, cycling from Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium in London back to Huddersfield over three days, completing the mission just before the Leicester City match on Saturday.

Almost 300 riders took part which was in aid of the ‘Keep It Up’ Campaign, these included chairman Dean Hoyle and club ambassador Andy Booth.

We’d also like to give a big shout out to HTSA chairman Steve King and treasurer John Sealey for their part in the ride – an excellent effort, very well done guys.

The next All Together Town Voices Panel meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 12, at PPG Canalside when one of the main topics of focus will be on a club Supporter Liaison Officer (SLO) volunteer role.

The purpose of the role provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to participate in a new initiative at the club, defined by a closer partnership and engagement with the supporters.

The aim of the volunteer Supporter Liaison Officer (SLO) is to build and maintain dialogue between supporters of HTAFC and the club itself in order to bring improvements to their interaction and activities.

Supporters Direct, the organisation that helps supporters become more involved in the ownership and running of their clubs, has appointed Robin Osterley as chief executive.

Robin has been chief executive of Making Music, the National Federation of Music Societies, an advocacy and support group for grassroots music organisations. He held the post for 16 years, growing its funding base significantly and running several high-profile lobbying campaigns.

For HTSA Travel, next up away is the final trip of the season to Watford on Saturday.

With Championship status safe, why not enjoy the last trip of the season with a chance to see some of Town’s emerging talent pitting their skills against the Hornets?

Departure time is 6.45am for a 12.15pm kick off. The coach leaves from the stadium, and is priced at £14.50 for HTSA members, and £16.50 for non members.

HTSA Members travelling on the coach will also be in with a chance of winning £270 in the ‘Free’ draw.
