GO DOWN to Keep It Up!
That’s the message as Huddersfield Town Supporters Association is pleased to announce a fund-raising event to be held on Yorkshire Day this year.
This will be a charity abseiling event at the Galpharm Stadium on August 1 to raise money for the Keep It Up Campaign.
This was launched by the club in partnership with Yorkshire Air Ambulance and all funds raised will be evenly split between YAA and the club’s Academy.
Huddersfield Town is branding itself as The Yorkshire Club, so what could be more appropriate than to hold this event on Yorkshire Day – Saturday, August 1.
The abseil will be from the TV gantry in the stadium and we are looking for approximately 70 people to take part, with a minimum of £50 in sponsorship money.
All participants will receive a certificate and there will be a special prize for the one who raises the most money. All the profit goes straight to the Keep It Up campaign.
So here’s a chance to try something new (or to demonstrate your skills if you’re an expert!) at the same time as contributing to two excellent causes.
