ONE of the Town Supporters Association objectives is to encourage active area groups and these are thriving in the Heavy Woollen district and in the south, covering a wide area centred on London.

The Heavy Woollen group usually meet on the second Thursday of the month at the Barclay’s Club, Ravensthorpe, and this is a late reminder for Town fans in that area to get along tonight to welcome the guest for October, Nathan Clarke.

We are also trying to start up a group in the Calderdale area, meeting at the Shay, so watch this space (and www.htsa.co.uk) for further details.

Thirdly, would all our southern-based fans reading this on the internet please note that there will be a meeting before the Charlton match on Saturday week with special guest, Patrick Stewart.

Full details of the venue and function are available from our intrepid southern coordinator, Andy Kilvington, contactable via the website already listed.

It is also hoped that the HTSA coach to Charlton will be able to include this meeting in its itinerary.

Departure time from the Galpharm is 8am and the price for members is £20 or £17 (concessions).

Anyone travelling as a non-member will have the opportunity to join HTSA on the coach. Otherwise, you can join by calling into the cabin on match days or via the website.

Please ring either 07926 165863 or 07798 727782 to book your place or visit the cabin this Saturday before the Exeter match.
