Huddersfield Town fans can turn back the clock after the club produced a replica of their first sponsored shirt.

Central Garage Mirfield adorned the famous blue and white stripes between 1982-84.

The car fleet garage paid less than £10,000 for the privilege!

The first season the shirt was worn, Town won promotion from Division III (now League I).

Mick Buxton’s side included current Town academy manager Mark Lillis, who scored 20 goals.

Other popular players included Malcolm Brown, Keith Hanvey and Dave Cowling.

In 1983-84, Town finished 12th in Division II and beat top-flight QPR in the FA Cup.

The replica shirts are available at £35 in all adult sizes.
