Millwall stand between Huddersfield Town Under 21s and a second successive Professional Development League II play-off final appearance.

Frankie Bunn’s North section champions face the Lions, runners-up in the South division, at PPG Canalside on Tuesday (2.00).

Town were 5-3 winners after extra time at Crystal Palace in last season’s semis.

But they lost 3-2 to Swansea City in the final at the Liberty Stadium.

This time, Bunn’s side have won 20 and drawn five of their 30 league games as well as reaching the Under 21 Premier League Cup semi-finals.

They lost to Hull City on penalties following a goalless draw after extra time at the John Smith’s Stadium.

The latest semi must also be decided on the day.

Millwall, coached by former Fulham and Bristol Rovers midfielder Justin Skinner, won 15 and drew five of their 29 league games.

They pipped Cardiff City to runners-up spot thanks to a 2-0 win at Ipswich Town in their final game.

Town won 2-0 at Millwall with goals by Jake Charles and Philip Billing in an inter-sectional game back in October.

Admission to the PPG tie is £1, which includes a teamsheet.
