HUDDERSFIELD Town today unveil their new navy blue change kit – and they will wear it for the first time in Wednesday’s friendly at Klimarnock.

Supporters can snap up the new strip – made by Umbro and again carrying the Radian B brand logo of long-time backers Thornton + Ross – online or from either of the club’s shops, at the stadium and in the town centre.

It’s a departure from the last three campaigns, when Town have worn red-based change colours, with last season’s, which featured a black and white chevron, retained as a third strip.

Town wore their new Rekorderlig-sponsored blue and white striped first-choice kit in Saturday’s opening friendly at non-league Guiseley, where they were beaten 1-0 in front of 1,154.

But the navy blue will be on show at Kilmarnock, whose first-choice colours are blue and white stripes with their change the same design in red and white.

The Town strip, to be worn with navy shorts and navy socks with a white band, is being marketed under the banner ‘Stand Out From The Crowd’.

It’s the fourth season running that pharmaceutical company Thornton + Ross, based in Linthwaite, have put their Radian B brand on the change kit.

Town set off for their week-long trip to Scotland yesterday.
