HERE are the ratings for Huddersfield Town against Bournemouth.

The ratings on this page are from Huddersfield Town reporter Doug Thomson.

The fans' ratings, submitted by our player rater, are on page two.

IAN BENNETT

One of the few Town players to emerge with any credit. Little chance with the goal and kept the scoreline down. 7

CALUM WOODS

Started on the left, finished on the right after Hunt went off, but didn’t reach his usual standard in either berth. 5

JACK HUNT

Worked hard to find a way through before being carried off with a nasty-looking ankle injury in the second half. 6

ALEX BRUCE

A decent enough debut by the on-loan Leeds man who was strong in the air and produced some meaty challenges. 6

PETER CLARKE

Made some key clearances but will be annoyed at losing out to Thomas in the move which led to the goal. 6

SCOTT ARFIELD

No shortage of effort from the Scot, but this was a day on which none of the Town midfielders shone. 5

DAMIEN JOHNSON

Unusually, the experienced ex-Northern Ireland man fell below the high level he has produced for Town. 5

ANTON ROBINSON

Back in the starting side, but certainly not the way he would have wanted to play against his former employers. 5

JORDAN RHODES

Produced Town’s only genuine effort on target but had few other chances to strike in the rest of the game. 6

JON PARKIN

Showed some neat footwork and came close to unlocking the Bournemouth defence a couple of times. 6

DANNY WARD

Like Robinson, he returned to the first XI, but was well policed and must have found this game frustrating. 5

SUBSTITUTES

Gary Naysmith (for Hunt, 50mins) 6;

Lee Novak (for Parkin, 55mins) 6;

Gary Roberts (for Robinson, 63mins) 5.
