IAN BENNETT
Came in for the injured Alex Smithies and looked comfortable. Couldn't be blamed for the Bury goal. 7

GARY NAYSMITH
The left-back got on with things without fuss and worked hard to push forward when the opportunity arose. 6

CALUM WOODS
Got caught out a couple of times, but overall, this was a decent debut by the former Dunfermline right-back. 7

ANTONY KAY
The centre-back made some key challenges and blocks but lost track of Ryan Lowe as he levelled for Bury. 7

PETER CLARKE
The skipper escaped a first-half penalty appeal by the visitors and didn’t look quite as solid as normal. 6

DONAL McDERMOTT
A superb diagonal ball in to Gary Roberts was one of a number of glimpses of his skill, but overall an off day. 6

ANTON ROBINSON
Town’s most recent arrival was just getting into his stride when forced off by injury on 29 minutes. 6

OSCAR GOBERN
The rangy central midfielder was a hard worker on his debut and suggested there is more to come. 7

JORDAN RHODES
Put in the hard yards, helping out in defence and robbing Mike Jones to start the move which brought Town’s goal. 7

DANNY WARD
Always looked like he might conjure something special, but couldn’t quite make his undoubted skill count. 6

GARY ROBERTS
Not totally comfortable, but stuck at it and popped up to collect his first goal of the campaign. 6

Substitutes:
Tommy Miller (for Robinson, 29mins) 6;
Lee Novak (for McDermott, 52mins) 7.
Not used: Liam Cooper, Alan Lee, Nick Colgan
