THERE’S a new date for the annual AFC Emley versus Huddersfield Town friendly – Friday, July 26, with a 7.15 kick-off.
The Championship club are sending their Under 21 side to face the Northern Counties East League First Division team. The fixture, originally scheduled for Tuesday, July 16, takes place annually for the Adrian Wright Memorial Trophy, with Emley winning the last two.
For Emley, it’s one of seven friendlies fixed up so far, while Town’s Under 21s have three lined up as they prepare for the Professional Development League II North campaign, having reached last season’s play-offs.
