KEVIN KILBANE picked up his second Huddersfield Town caution and fifth of the season in Saturday’s FA Cup clash with Dover.

But the Republic of Ireland international, who was making his third Town appearance, avoids a one-match ban because the December 31 deadline has passed.

Still enforced will be two-match suspensions for a player who reaches 10 cautions, with the cut-off the second Sunday in April.

Any player reaching 15 cautions for the season, regardless of when, will be hit by a three-match ban.

Town trio Peter Clarke, Lee Peltier and Antony Kay all served one-match suspensions for five bookings before the turn of the year.

Centre-back or midfielder Kay has since picked up a sixth caution.

Gary Roberts has four and Joey Gudjonsson, Graham Carey and Alan Lee three.
