Huddersfield Town will have to keep a close eye on Wolves striker Benik Afobe who says he is finding his form again.

Former Town loan signing Afobe, who has now gone three league games without a goal, played all 90 minutes in the impressive 3-0 away win at Fulham and is looking forward to Saturday’s lunchtime Molineux meeting with Town.

The ex-Arsenal youngster expressed his delight at the result and his own performance at Craven Cottage on Twitter saying: “Felt like I was back to my best. Enjoyed being out there. Great 3-0 win by the lads. On to Saturday now.”

Afobe has three goals in 10 Championship appearances this season, but just one strike in the last six. He remains a must pick for manager Kenny Jackett, whose options have been limited by the serious knee injury suffered by Nouha Dicko.

Town are still casting their eye over striker Leon Best.

The 29-year-old forward is a free agent after he was released by Town’s Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers in July 2015 by mutual consent.

The club confirmed that there has been no change in the situation with Best who continues to train with the club.
