Huddersfield Town's hailed Championship Player of the Month James Vaughan and predicted: “There’s more to come from him.”

Eight goals in seven games helped earn the Town striker the first divisional award of the season (Blackpool’s Paul Ince took the  managerial prize).

And teammate Hammill said of the £600,000  summer signing from Norwich: “James is a  great player who works really hard for the team.

“He will throw himself in front of anything  either to score or prevent a goal and it’s great to  have a player like him on board.

“He’s been unfortunate with injuries in the  past, bit hopefully those problems are behind  him now. He’s a class act and I believe he’ll  keep banging the goals in.”
