HUDDERSFIELD Town defender Joe Skarz has joined Bury after the Gigg Lane club pipped Shrewsbury to the 20-year-old's signature.
The clubs are keeping the fee for the left-back under wraps, but Huddersfield Town say there are significant add-on clauses.
Huddersfield-born Skarz has made 81 Town appearances since his November 2006 debut in a 1-1 Galpharm draw with Scunthorpe.
Having had loan spells at Hartlepool and Shrewsbury, he was made available for transfer at the end of last season.
