SIMON GRAYSON is another League I boss stepping up his search for a loan signing after the misery of defeat by promotion rivals Millwall was compounded by a season-ending injury for Patrick Kisnorbo.

Town left-back Dean Heffernan’s fellow Australian, right, one of Leeds’ most consistent players this season, badly damaged his Achilles tendon and will also miss the World Cup.

Grayson is looking to see if he can bring in cover as he attempts to halt Leeds’ alarming slide, with Monday’s 2-0 defeat, sealed by Steve Morison, left, and Shaun Batt, meaning they have won just three of their last 14 league games.

“Paddy’s injury is obviously a concern and he is out for the season,” said Grayson.

“We will have a look at what’s out there and see what happens.”

Former Aston Villa and England midfielder Lee Hendrie is joining Brighton.

The 32-year-old has agreed a loan switch from Derby.
